Homemade Hummus with Extra Virgin Olive Oil
An easy, healthy, and perfect recipe for snacking, highlighting the flavor of extra virgin olive oil.
Ingredients
- Cooked chickpeas (400 g)
- Tahini (2 tablespoons)
- Verdeliss extra virgin olive oil (3 tablespoons)
- Lemon juice (1 unit)
- Garlic (1 clove)
- Ground cumin (½ teaspoon)
- Salt (to taste)
Preparation
- In a food processor, mix the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin.
- Blend until you get a creamy paste. If necessary, add a little water.
- Incorporate the extra virgin olive oil and mix well.
- Taste and adjust the salt to your liking.
- Serve in a bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and paprika.
Tips
You can serve the hummus with pita bread, vegetable crudités, or use it as a spread in sandwiches. Perfect for parties or healthy snacks.
