Verdeliss10 is born in Jaén (Spain), in the area of Peal del Becerro, from olive groves whose lands are covered with vegetation, attracting a great biodiversity of plants, insects, and birds. This provides greater oxygenation to the olive trees, giving our Picual and Royal varieties extraordinary characteristics.
The olives are selected at the optimal moment for harvesting between late September and early October. This early harvest yields less quantity but higher quality, with an intense green color.
The harvesting is done manually to minimize damage to the fruit. Once in the micro-mill, our Picual and Royal varieties are cold-pressed and filtered through cellulose filters, preserving all the aromas and properties (our "10" represents the kilograms of olives we press to produce one liter of green oil).
This makes our Verdeliss10 extra virgin olive oil of high gustatory/aromatic quality and with a great concentration of polyphenols.
